All the prayers you prayed for me
were captured by the wind,
and will go round and round again
even now when you’re not longer here.

You were the shadow in the window
in those cold arctic nights
You never got a star
on Hollywood Boulevard
or traveling the world,
but I hope you will see it all
through the eyes of all of us
that you carried in your arms.

You will see the land of Israel,
coasts of Africa,
streets of Shanghai,
and the Islands of Hawaii,
Down to the land down under,
feel the Caribbean breeze on you chin
The great land of the USA
from the east coast to LA

Dakota

Trapped between insanity and fear
You fought a distant war over there
They broke your spirit and they took your mind

Walkin’ with Legends

I am walkin’ with legends
And watching them grow
A little boy smiling from winning a fight
Now pound for pound champion in the spot light
Hardworking man though and strong

I am walkin’ with Legends
With money and fame
The teachers and fathers who gives what they can
Creates winners and help them understand
Hardworking men though and strong

A faded picture came to me in the mail
Some men on a boat standing under the sail
Hardworking men though and strong
And suddenly I realized

I ‘ve been walking with Legends
All of my life
Those were the men who was riding the storms
Came home with jackpots and brought smiles to our homes
They are legends, at least in my eyes

Spend Some Time

All the letters you wrote to me
From far away countries way across the sea
I didn’t have much to tell you, I was too young to write
But I did find a way to share my dreams with you
 
I drew cowboys and Indians,
And a lot of horses too
I was dreaming of a country
Where I longed to be

But, through out many lonely days
All I ever wanted
Was to spend some time with you

You came home I remember
Way back when I was five
You had mini skirt, long nails and style
Telling stories from your life
The center of attention
And all we ever wanted
Was to spend some time with you
